Piazzolla "Bordel 1900"

Do you know a composer named Astor Piazzola? Originally from Argentina, he studied composition under Nadia Boulanger in Paris, but he earned enough income and began to play his favourite songs for the first time in his life only when he was 59 years old in 1980. This year he starts writing ambitious multi-movement songs. One of the songs is the history of Tango. The history of Tango is a song consisting of four movements for flute and guitar, showing how the tango has evolved over a period of thirty years for each movement. Piazzolla himself offered program notes. Please enjoy the first movement “Bordel 1900” in the ensemble with Hidehiko Watase (flute). (Please refer to here for a detailed explanation of the song.))
